The Petrochemistry Division of DGMK announces its 22nd topical Conference with the general theme
„Selective Oxidation and Functionalization: Classical and Alternative Routes and Sources”
The Conference is jointly organized by the Petrochemistry Division of DGMK, the Division of Industrial Chemistry of the Società Chimica Italiana (SCI) and ÖGEW Österreichische Gesellschaft für Erdölwissenschaften.
The Conference will be held October 13 – 15, 2014, in Berlin, Germany.
The Conference will address topical scientific and technical issues such as:
Novel routes in direct functionalization of methane, activation and oxidation of alkanes, functionalization of olefins (hydroformylation, carbonylation), direct synthesis of hydrogen peroxide, selective oxidation using molecular oxygen, ozone, H2O2, N2O and organic peroxides, novel biochemical approaches to selective oxidation and functionalization, selective routes to oxidations of aromatics, olefins and renewables, approaches for selective oxidations/functionalizations in microreactors, comparison of homogeneous, heterogeneous and biocatalytic routes for selective oxidation and functionalization, nanostructured catalysts for oxidation and functionalization etc. Also, contributions addressing electrochemically promoted selective oxidations and electrocatalytic oxidations are welcome.
